Fillings
Composite (White) Fillings
Composite resins are versatile materials and can be used as restorative fillings, as well as in cosmetic dentistry to replace worn silver or gold fillings, or to close spaces/recontour front teeth. Less natural tooth structure is lost when composite resins are used as filling materials, as compared to older amalgam ( "silver") fillings, since composite materials actually bond to the tooth structure.
